Kindness

Lao-Tzu stated:
Kindness in words creates confidence. Kindness in thinking creates
profoundness. Kindness in giving creates love.

Is that so? Erm, once I believed that kindness put you in a difficult situation. For me, I never know when to be "not kind". Hah. People try to take advantage of you and you go "so much for my kindness".
